The Hatch team

 

Our team provides the highest quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Our care and level of services results in projects that run seamlessly and are enjoyable for everyone involved.

Prior to project commencement, clients are provided with a dedicated Project Team (project management and on-site personel), committed to providing ongoing service from start to finish.

Robert Palazzi

Managing Director/ Head Site Supervisor

With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry across Australia and Europe, Robert brings a wealth of technical expertise and practical site sensibility to every project. Beginning his career as a carpenter before progressing to site supervision and project leadership, he has developed a deep understanding of both craftsmanship and large-scale delivery.

Robert is renowned for his hands-on approach and unmatched technical knowledge, which give clients and architects confidence that even the most complex builds will be executed to the highest standard. His ability to balance detail with pragmatism ensures projects progress efficiently without compromising on quality.

Central to Robert’s philosophy is the value of relationships. He fosters strong, respectful connections with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants alike - a collaborative approach that keeps projects on track, on time, and built to exacting standards.

Certificate 4 in Building and Construction 2012

Will Crutchley

Managing Director / Head of Project Management

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry across New Zealand and Australia, Will began his career in carpentry before progressing into project management. This unique foundation allows him to combine technical craftsmanship with the strategic foresight needed to deliver complex builds with precision.

Clients consistently note Will’s ability to bring order and reassurance from the very start of a project. His unmatched project management skills ensure architects, consultants, and clients are aligned early, setting a clear roadmap and establishing a strong team mentality. This approach builds immediate trust and creates confidence that the project is in safe hands.

Known for his open and transparent communication, Will keeps every stakeholder informed and engaged throughout the process. His leadership style fosters collaboration, clarity, and accountability - resulting in projects that run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Max Mazouider

Project Manager

Max's 14+ years in the building industry has seen him gradually develop a passionate specialisation in high end residential. 

With a hard work ethic and a keen eye for detail, Max takes pride in his ownership and dedication to each job he is involved in. He can be relied upon for his problem solving abilities - a trait which has served him well in the past and seen him receiving Tradesman of the year in his last role at one of Sydney's most prestigious residential building companies. 

Max takes particular pride in relationship development with clients, architects and designers, ensuring the core partners work in harmony throughout the job to deliver optimal outcomes.  

On weekends, you'll find him at home in the water and spending time with his young family.

Josh Fraser

Site Manager

Josh brings deep construction experience from across Sydney, where he has worked alongside some of Australia’s leading - and globally recognised - architects. As a foreman on high-end residential projects, he has earned a reputation for precision, professionalism, and the ability to deliver complex builds to exacting standards.

Known for his strong relationships with subcontractors, Josh fosters a positive and collaborative site environment that ensures smooth project delivery. His leadership style combines high performance with a focus on creating an enjoyable, team-oriented culture - qualities that consistently translate into exceptional outcomes for clients and architects alike.

Luke Nicolas

Estimator & Contracts Administrator

With a strong focus on budget forecasting and accuracy, cost prediction, tracking and developing  detailed Bill of Quantities, Luke provides highly accurate estimates from pre DA or CC drawings, as well as producing detailed build programs and schedules. Luke can also assist in communicating any  associated costs with clients and offer valuable engineering advice to help meet their budget.

Bruce Wang

Property Development Manager

With experience with tier 1 developers for 3+ years, Bruce's qualifications enable him to oversee the development and construction of various $50 -$100m plus real estate projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on time including identifying risks and opportunities, and developing contingency plans as needed.  Bruce is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. He possess a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering quality projects that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders. He is also proficient in running project feasibility for site acquisition and preparing investment proposal for new development opportunity.

 

Contract Administrator

Bruce is also responsible for overseeing the administrative tasks of a construction project, ensuring that any construction related task is completed accurately and on time. This requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as a thorough understanding of construction project management processes. He is cable of contracts, track budgets and expenses, manage project schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. He is also highly proficient in project management software, focusing on efficiency and accuracy to support the overall success of the construction project.
