Presenting 40 William Street, a fabulous family home that involved the design and construction of a custom build to an existing terrace. Hatch completed a meet and greet with the owners early on, and was bought in as the preferred builder, after both parties realised that their goals for this build were aligned.    

The site presented many unique challenges due to its narrow space and lack of room for running services, including access and ground water, with limited space to conceal all of these services for this three-level fully automated project. Hatch also had to work through a strategic and careful approach to ensure the preservation of a significant Jacaranda tree on the property and minimise environmental impact on the site.  

Hatch quickly got to work on site and collaborated closely with the project architect to unlock the house's potential and create a cleverly designed, beautiful home. Key trades were engaged early to provide input and assist with each aspect of the build. No stone was left unturned to produce the exceptional finish that is visible within these images.   

Hatch was proud to have formed a close relationship with the clients, who offered invaluable insight into what they wanted the house to represent. This collaborative approach allowed Hatch to think outside of the box and produce a home to be truly proud of. Hatch thrived in having the freedom to come up with unique ways to complete the works, as the build progressed through each stage. The finished product was a testament of true team work and Hatch would like to thank everyone who was part of the process.
